A New Adventure

“Wow, a month? Where are you going?”

This has probably been the most asked question when either of us has mentioned that we are going on this road trip. People are attracted to adventure, and that’s exactly what we are doing. We have wanted to include all our friends and family on this journey as much as we can. But in order to help insure safety (and calm our parents’ fears) we won’t be posting big details about where we are until after we’ve arrived or even already left.

As of today, we are headed to New Jersey. We are visiting with a dear friend of ours, Sara. She is artsy and crafty. She is a business woman, and a great fashionista. I am so excited to be spending time with her. It’s not too often she is able to visit and now, people are coming to visit her. I met Sara a few years ago and knew that she had a creative soul immediately. She likes to express that creativity through her fashion and art with a vintage twist. She is also the only person I know that can pull of full, bold, frontal bangs perfectly.

The drive has been long, but it is well worth it. So what did we do on this crazy drive?

Well… We ate. We sang. We made our first impromptu stop. We played the alphabet game. We played the license plate game. We worked on #27 and #33 from the bucket list (see earlier post). I almost got carsick. Sarah only insisted the world was out to get her three times. We made videos.
